Refugee Lodgings
Housing Solution for newly granted refugees
Refugee Lodgings is a response to the rise in newly recognised refugees being forced into homelessness and rough-sleeping following an eviction from Home Office Accommodation.
Refugee Lodgings provide a safety net against homelessness and rough sleeping for those leaving Home Office accommodation, and it helps people build experience to then move into the private rental market.
The rise in the cost of living has impacted millions of households across London. Earning an income from a lodger paying monthly rent can help to offset the increase in your household bills. You can earn up to £7,500 a year tax free by taking in a lodger.
