London Lettings Network – Housing Justice

The London Lettings Network is a straightforward tool that lists all the rental properties in London and the surrounding boroughs which accept Housing Benefit, so you can easily find everything you need in one place, without needing insider knowledge or special connections.

It is updated five days a week, Monday to Friday, with real time information on new accommodation, as well as allowing you to contact the Estate Agent/Landlord who has advertised the property in order to arrange a viewing. It is accessible for both desktop and mobile. We upload upward of 80–100 properties a day.

Last week, Housing Justice, in partnership with ARK Consultancy Ltd and with support from The Robertson Trust, brought together leaders from across Scotland’s housing, government and faith sectors for an important roundtable discussion.

We focused on how unused faith-owned land and buildings could play a vital role in tackling Scotland’s housing emergency.

Building on Scotland’s Cabinet Secretary for Housing, Mairi McAllan, commitment to:

✅ Invest up to £4.9 billion over the next four years
✅ Deliver around 36,000 affordable homes by 2029-30 – providing safe homes for up to 24,000 children
✅ Unlock land for housing, particularly in rural areas, through collaboration with the Scottish National Investment Bank, landowners and public bodies

…it’s clear that innovative partnerships will be essential.

The roundtable discussion highlighted real opportunities:
🏘️ For faith organisations, ensuring their unused buildings don’t fall into disrepair but instead serve local communities in a new, much-needed way.
🤝 For the housing sector, unlocking more affordable homes and advancing land justice – making sure land is used to meet urgent social needs.

The energy and positivity in the room were inspiring. Together, we can reimagine how Scotland’s underused assets are put to work – building homes, creating hope, and strengthening communities.
