This March, The Big Issue published an article about our Refugee Lodgings project, highlighting its purpose and impact. The piece explores how the initiative provides safe and stable housing for refugees while giving resident landlords a meaningful opportunity to open their homes, earn rental income and offer support.
As part of their coverage, The Big Issue interviewed a refugee lodger and a resident landlord, who shared their personal experiences of the scheme and the difference it has made in their lives. A member of our team also spoke about the project’s wider impact and the vital role it plays in tackling homelessness among refugees in London.
