Trans World Radio-UK is a Christian broadcaster, who recently spoke to our very own – George Butler, who is leading the Citadel project in England.
In response to the growing crisis of homelessness, we are proud to launch Citadel, a community-driven project aimed at providing crucial support to those facing homelessness. Citadel is built on the power of volunteers, offering countless ways to make a difference—from helping people secure accommodation, to furnishing homes and managing essential skills like budgeting.
As George explains: “Homelessness isn’t just about lacking a roof over your head. It’s about the profound exclusion that people face when they lose their home. Citadel’s mission is to restore dignity and inclusion, uniting communities to not only offer a place to live, but a place where people can truly belong and flourish.”
