The HomeLife Partnership comprises Housing Justice, Barnardo’s and Pobl with funding from Homewards.
HomeLife has been funded to run support services in Newport for 12 months in 2025-26 to address the growing need in the area, and aims to identify people at risk of homelessness and provide tailored, early intervention through community-based services to reduce the number of people at crisis point needing access to more intensive services.
OUR VOLUNTEER ROLES
We believe support starts in the community, and volunteers are central to our work in Newport.
If you would be interested in volunteering to support people at risk of homelessness, or currently experiencing homelessness, please take a look at our current volunteer roles below:

You’ll be matched with an individual who needs on-going support with settling into their new home. You’d meet up at least once a week to listen and understand their needs, and the support you’ll offer could include having a coffee and a chat, attending an appointment with them or helping them to register with a GP. This volunteering role is for people who can offer at least one hour a week, for a minimum of 6 months.
