These resources are taken from a past event held in October 2024, which invited night shelter and emergency accommodation projects nationally and experts in the field to come together and explore issues pertinent to the future of night shelters and rough sleeping.

DEVELOPING A TRAUMA-INFORMED APPROACH TO NIGHT SHELTERS

This workshop considers the Trauma-Informed Practice Framework, developed by Homeless Link and how this framework can be used and adapted to night shelters. We explore different examples of how organisations approach offering a trauma-informed service and work together to guide best practice in NS and EA settings.
