Introduction
During the current pandemic, shelters are responding and evolving their support and hospitality into new safer ways. Housing Justice, in consultation with shelters across the network, has re-modeled the Salesforce homeless services management platform – In-Form, to reflect shelter activities and has newly added COVID-19 functions. Free licences are now available for the WNS Network.
Who uses In-Form?
The platform is widely used across the country by organisations like the Mayday Trust, 999 Club, St Mungo’s, and Thames Reach alongside faith based organisations like Firm Foundation and One Roof Leicester.
What is In-Form?
In-Form is a homelessness specific support database managing referrals, bed spaces, guest support, staffing and housing management. The standard version is commonly used in commissioned services, but the Housing Justice version has been tailored to reflect shelter practice and includes new COVID-19 functions covering;
- Vulnerability criteria (NHS standard)
- COVID-19 signs and symptoms daily tracker
- Contacts with confirmed cases in previous 14 days
- Recent travel from countries not exempt from border rules on quarantine
- Track and trace
- Positive test results
- Isolations
In-Form assists shelters to manage COVID-19 safety, personal support, rooms/beds, reporting and referral vulnerability triage.
In-Form stores personal guest info and support work across a timeline function including referrals, actions, risk assessments and move on. Reports can be set and dashboard alert flags are used to clearly show COVID-19 concerns for easy assessment and staff hand over communication.
In-Form offers clear comprehensive case management with extensive options and functions in one place covering booking in, assessments, case work plans and goals, Outcome star monitoring tool, automatic reminders, team chat, complaints, compliments, incidents and accidents. Extra functions can be added to access referral forms via your shelter website and submitted into In-Form and sending group and automatic text messages. In-Form is accessible via mobile app’s and can help coordinate both and day and overnight functions.
